Will P1 apps work on the P990??
what about after the August '07 update for the P990 which is yet to arrive?

P1 is UIQ3.1 but all the apps "should" work ok.

P1 is UIQ 3.0. The only UIQ3.1 device is the Motorola Z8 so far.

UIQ3.0 compared to 3.1 is not that different to make the application uncompatible imo. We know that UIQ2.0 is not compatible with 3.0, but after all, both are version 3
. And as we have seen the interface look a bit similar to the P990's 3.0 UIQ interface, so it won't make the application uncompatible, so 3.1 is a little "upgrade" to the buggy 3.0 one.
