Is this just an isolated case? Probably, only time will tell. But I wonder why P990's owners still have patience to wait for its improvement even after SE almost abandoned it.

this happens everywhere and with every brand. it's absolutely impossible that a product is being created which is totally flawless and without bugs, and this for hundreds of thousands of devices.
some companies have QA depts with higher standards and you'll find less problems and other companies have more problems. but i wouldn't take SE with the p990i as a similar "problem". the flaws of p990i are product-related

there are officially liscences dealers though, and quite a lot of them
although the closest one to me is 13 miles away...still...its closer than the apple store 68 miles away. (nearest nokia officially liscenced dealer is 12 miles and the nearest microsoft official partner is down the road)
