Why do I keep having this message whenever I try to download the modules I want? My GPRS works just fine..anyone with the same problem? My phone is APAC R6BC002.

EDIT : It just works perfectly now all of sudden. I can download all modules without any problem. I didn't change any setting. Still with my R6BC002 APAC. SE has fixed its server then. Great.

Hoho my old K800i. It's somewhere far away now... A friend of mine bought it.

I can browse just fine with Opera Mini, check my Gmail application or do anything with Java stuffs. Just this PhotoMate bothers me a bit. It won't allow me to download any module!

No matter how I try, Photomate doesn't work at all. I cannot download any other modules unlike my old K800i. That's weird. My Opera Mini works just fine. Hm, what may cause the thing?

bro, that's very weird, i could download mine just fine for the photomate, logically, when java applications don't seem to be able to connect to the internet is when the setting for java connection is not right. but since you could browse using the opera mini ok, it justifies that the java have got enough juice for browsing.....problem may lay on the sonyericsson's server failure to inject the modules? or may be simply because of the phone which is the least case, as in the case of my k810i failed to blog any of the picture i take......

i agree.. i thought my connection was fine... but that was before the update.

when my phone was on R1KG, it downloads all files necessary for the PhotoMate. but now, when i upgraded to R6BC, i also experienced that Connection error thing.

I guess the server do really act on the phone, maybe it reads the phone firmware and if its not at all compatible with SE server then it cuts the connection. wot do u think?! (since R6BC was developed by wotan)

Aha, that may be the case. K810i R1KG001 uses Customisation R6A, but R6BC002 uses Customisation R8A. Check your software info.
@jakontil--what's your firmware? R1KG001 with R6A customisation? I remember when my K800i was loaded with K810 firmware R1KG001, Photomate works just fine.

Downgrade because of this Photo Mate? I don't think so.

BTW, @rockygali :Your NFS Carbon makes my phone always restarts and restarts. A great game, but it makes me 'stressed'..LOL
