my sony ericsson w810i uses a memory stick duo card and there i have all my contacts and everything stored. i just bought a nokia n95. how do i transfer my contacts from the memory stick duo to the tiny microsd (mini sd) card or to the n95 phone itself?
there's probably some simple solution i just haven't thought of...

can you use mpe to export to a vcf file. Can nokia's software can read that ?
Sync the w810i to outlook, then use nokia pc suite to sync to the nokia.

YOU CAN COPY THEM FROM THE MEMORY STICK TO THE SIM CARD.just follow the steps.
1.go to contacts
2.go to options
3.advanced
4.copy to sim and you are done

never mind i figured it out.

in the w810i do this:
1. insert the sim card you are later going to be using in the n95
2. contacts > options > advanced > copy to sim > copy all
3. remove the sim card

in the n95 do this:
1. insert the sim card you just took out of the se w810i
2. contacts > options > sim contacts > sim directory > options > mark/unmark > mark all > options > copy to contacts

pretty simple actually =) but all my contacts get imported with the last name (word) first and even though there is an option in n95 to display them like this:
first name last name

it doesn't help so if i get annoyed by it i'll probably have to edit them one by one =( probably nothing to do with the n95, maybe the 2 phones have 2 different and incompatible contacts formats..

fyi, i tried the send all contacts via bluetooth and it sent a vcf file, but the n95 only imported/read the first contact, nothing else, so in other words that way didn't work...
