"Logo images for both T-Mobile and Vodafone have been found in the iPhone’s file system.

The images, Default_CARRIER_TMOBILE.png and Default_CARRIER_VODAFONE.png, lend credence to the rumors that both T-Mobile and Vodafone will offer the iPhone throughout different parts of Europe.

In addition to the images, the device’s ringtones have been found in a dedicated “Ringtones” directory. The iPhone’s ringtones are currently saved in unprotected AAC format with a .m4a extension. "

This new rumor shows that we still have no idea what so ever, who is gonna get the iPhone in the UK!

That doesn't mean squat.

It more than likely the operator logos that you see appear in the phone when different sims are put in it that your looking at. Plus the only iphone's in existence are in the USA, and funnily enough, Vodafone and T-Mobile have carriers there but O2 and Orange don't. It's pretty clear it's just either a back up measure for if and when the phone is unlocked or released to other networks eventually, or it's a purposeful decoy from Apple.


Either way, who really cares, it's a dog do....
