> Question for W950 owners
Bookmark topic
Hi,
I was thinking of getting the W950 soon - it's cheap, cheaper than the K800 even but, I've noticed that in photos of it, the keypad appears to be sunken it. It looks as though there's a crease above the keypad.
Do any of you W950 owners notice something like that on your phones?

You're right. W950 has flushed keypads but they are not touch sensitive as LG Choco's ones. If you don't like it you can use the stylus.

I think you might have misread my question.
I meant that just above the keypad, it looks as though there is a horizontal crease on the plastic just below the Walkman logo:

And also, are the 'music control' buttons actually buttons or are they just labels?

They are actually buttons, I have the crease, as do all other W950i.

That's a shame. Does it feel as though it would break? I'd hate it to get worse over time.

All W950's have that 'crease' n no, it isn't a defect...it doesn't get worse or anythin...
as for da music controls, they light up when in da walkman mode, they are not actual buttons instead share da buttons with 1, 2 & 3...
ie 1 is Rewind, 2 is Play/Stop & 3 is Fast Foward

I don't see what the problem with the crease is, i admit the first time i saw it i was a bit puzzled, but i don't notice it ever. Perhaps thats because my phone is mostly in my pocket as i'm listening to music.

My W950 is similar - it's not really an issue.
I'm not a big fan of the keypad, but you do get used to it eventually.
You can press on the lit-up buttons, but they are sharing the 1, 2 and 3 keys.
A lot of photos make it looks black or grey, but it is really a dark purple colour - like aubergine.
