recently come across this Swedish earphone producer, Jays:
http://www.jays.se/home.aspx

i must say their products are very nice design wise....

any way, it seems, going by many reviews and reading peoples opinions on forums, that they are exellent products. And for their prices, their products seem like very good quality, on a level to match higher end earphones.
One of their employees is a member on Head-Fi and Jays own forums, and communicates with other members on a regular basis to get feeback on their products, whats good about them, what needs to be improved etc. This info is then passed on to rest of the co, and new products are developed according to the consumer feedback. Very good idea imho... gives us what we want in their products
im just about to purchase the d-jays model earphone my self...

any way, looking at their 'small' range (they are fairly new, have 2 new models coming soon, which id rather buy but cant wait for them, will get when released) i came across the m-jays product 3.5mm headphone (with mic) adaptor/headphones: http://www.jays.se/products.aspx?sub=mjays

has any one seen/used this product? it states it is compatible with phones, (both the j-jays and m-jays were made mainly for phones apparently) ive searched the net, but have not found an answer to this, the m-jays phones adaptor, is the connector the same as fast port? i can only assume this as its for products, but can any one help me out?
i need a 3.5mm headphone adaptor, and the chinese ones on ebay are nothing but CRAP! i need something of higher quality....

ps. no im not a Jays employee trying to sell for them just thought id show the company round here, as i know some members like to have quality earphones...

@stajlerboy

thanks for the vote of confidence

im not looking to spend much, otherwise i would have got a set of Ultimate Ears super.fi 5 pro's.

they have a new model coming out, the jays q-jays, they should be on market soon, but people testing the protos from months back said they were already better at that stage then the d-jays, with more bass, better over soundstage etc etc. as the q-jays have dual mirco armatures where as the d-jays. might get the q-jays later on when my budget is higher

have you seen the m-jays over there? do they have the fastport connector? pictures of this product on the net dont show the full product so im unable to see if it does.

cheers

If they have the proper fastport connector, there is no reason why it wouldn't work. And I think it is a good investition and nice accessory to have .

@stirzlow
it will work if it has fastport connector, i know that. Im just trying to find out if it has a fast port connector. At the moment i know its a 3.5mm headphone adaptor with mic, and i think a set of earphones come with it (not 100% on if the headphones come with it though) i think i might contact them.

The m-jays work with all SE phones that have fastport connection.

During 2007 they will launch m-jays for more mobile manufacturers.

And the q-jays will cost almost twice as much as the d-jays.

@stajlerboy

so the m-jays do indeed have the fastport connector attached, like this:?

is it just a 3,5mm adaptor and mic that come with it? ive read they may come with a set of headphones with it, please confirm if you can.

the q-jays will be $179usd before tax as i have read. looknig forward to them, they shouldbe out soon...

Yes it has the fastport and it's only the 3,5mm adaptor and mic, no headphones comes with it.
