> registering t-mobile PAYG sim question?
Bookmark topic
hi, well i topped-up a new t-mob sim ready to use to unlock my N95, however when i asked to register and unlock it they said it would take 3 months b4 they would allow me the unlock code so i said could i register with my old t-mob contract sim and then they'll send e it that way....and they said ok and took my details...
So i ave this sim and am going to sell but i was wondering does tis eman they have registered it with my N95 as i dont want the buyer knowing my IMEI etc....they didnt ask for my IMEI until we agreed on using the contract method and they never asked for a password i would request to set up with this new PAYG sim so i doubt they have registered it but just wanna be sure?

The answer to your question is no. They only put your IMEI in am email to the department that deal with the code issuing and do not register it no the account! The email is recorded on your contract account notes not the pre pay one. Hope this helps :-)

Unless you specifically asked them to register your IMEI against the pre pay accounts, they can not divulged that info-because they have nothing to make reference against-promise you have nothing to worry about! :-)
