Hi David,

Really looking forward to seeing what you think especially the feel of the unit, is it on Vodafone?

I have managed to get a voda specific as well as a generic unit, so i'll compare them for you, so far they look identical bar the voda splash screen on bootup and shut down. The menus are not altered and there is no voda icons or themes. Handset is subsidy locked but thats easily sorted.

There is also no voda branding on the case! Seems they are listening!

Initial impression on build is good, no squeeks, no loose sliders like N95, keypad is fine as far as i'm concerned, similar to razr etc, touch spongy, but that atypical of that style.

More to follow....

David

Hi David,

I have recently read that the Z8 does not even come with Office and PDF viewers never mind editors so if you want to view any type of Doc's you are going to have to buy some software. Pretty poor show if you ask me as the rest of the specs are all really good, maybe they really just see it as a Multimedia smart phone after all.
