I just got my new iPod Video today and I can't install it on Windows XP. I think it's because it can't find the drivers so if anyone could provide them, it would be appreciated.
But...
Any other help is also welcome.

how new is your pc? if you dont have usb 2 that could be a problem, but yes most likley the lack of drivers is your problem, although i thought installing itunes installed the drivers?

Yeah, try installing the software (iTunes) that came with it. Or download the latest version of iTunes (which includes all the drivers) from Apple:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Then simply follow the iPod New Users Guide here:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303632
It's not hard.

@JoolsG4
I have the latest iTunes on my computer now and my iPod didn't come with a disc.
I've got it all running on Vista but it would be great if it works on XP too.
Should I re-download iTunes?

Now this is really pi$$ing me off!
I can transfer my films to my laptop where my iPod & iTunes syncs fine, but they don't make it into the library if it's on the laptops hard disc.
Somebody please help, this is really making me feel crap about buying the iPod because nothing apart from my music works as it should.
