> ¿How to store voice mail locally in the phone?

Hi
My carrier charges a steep price to listen to voice messages through the standard service.
Is there a way to have incoming calls directed into an internal recording instead of the carriers voice mail? Perhaps some third-party app exists that I can install and takes over, plays a greeting, and then records the message?
