My p910 has just started acting very weird.
I use it with the flip on and when i swivel the flip down to use it as a full screen touchscreen, it just acts the same way as if the keypad was still closed.
How can i fix this??

sounds like there mabybe a problem with the flip keypad.
if you know someone else with a P990, switch them over to see if that works or take it to an SE service centre....

oops, i thought it was a P990 he was talking about. of course your right it doesnt! try a P910 flip

The microswitch that gets depressed and released when the flip is closed and opened could be playing up. It might be simply stuck in the down position. Give it a prod / pull with a pair of tweezers, see what happens.
