So do you think the sensors on Sony Ericsson will evlovle from CMOS?

No I don't. Because CMOS uses less power, I think Sony Ericsson, would prefer this for mobile imaging.
The last CCD lens used was in the S700i which wasn't a small phone either.

There a lot of major camera manufactures who also use CMOS, which suggests it has got a long way since it was introduced to the market... So its more now which camera is better rather then is CMOS or CCD better.

I dont think S700 was big because of the camera. W900 is similar in size and uses CMOS.
