> n95 tv out cable / video ipod

i have used my n95 tv out cable in my 30 gig ipod video and the music plays through my tv perfectly but i cant get my video podcasts /movies to show up on the screen although i have sound, i have tried re tuining the channels but no success as yet.
Anybody else tried this and had sucess or any answers to why i have sound and a picture with interferance.

the iPod doesnt have a video out on the 3.5mm socket. so you wont be able to do it. and retuning your TV wont change anything as it is using one of the TV's AV inputs.
the N95 is designed to do this on the other hand, and support video out via the 3.5mm socket.
also the cable will work with any MP3 player for playing music and will plug into any hifi with stereo phono inputs.

The video ipod does output video through the 3.5" jack plug - at least my 60GB video ipod does.
Strangely, the cable I use for my ipod (which I also used for my Olympus digital camera) does not work with the n95 I borrowed recently.
Even though the cable I had worked with both my ipod and my olympus camera, when using it on the ipod, I actually had to switch two of the RCA phono connectors when I plugged it into the TV. IIRC, it seems that the video was on the red/right audio channel. You might want to try that.
I don't know why it wouldn't work on the n95...I'm guessing there's some subtle physical difference in the conductors on the plug...

red - yellow
yellow - red
white - white
