If you want a cheap option, make your own module.
You can find on the web how to do it and what parts you need, it will cost you about $5 and some work.
Only disadvantage is that its an external device connected to a com port.

I can't find IrDA devices schematics but just information about compiling Linux modules and iPAQs, the schematics I found apparently aren't enabled to recive and send info at the same time, while most of them are just to recive then send the same info.

Could you please tell me where the hell I can find the correct schematic?
