Hello my friends,

I was thinking of saving up for a w610i to replace my worned out, abused and faithful w800i but the k550i also took my attention. It has a nice camera shutter and comes cheaper (maybe because of smaller memory card but i don't mind).

So what are the pros and cons of each phone and what do you think looks better?

I presume its the same argument as always, walkman vs. cybershot, and cybershot generally incorporates everything and more than the walkman, thats imo tho.

thanks guys for advice, k550i it is. thread has served its purpose

edit: i was watching videos of k550i on youtube, you can flash the k550i's firmware to w610i with wotan if your interested in the walkman 2.0 but nahhh...too troublesome. also it might lose some fuctions of the cybershot im guessing

w610 is superior to k550 both in looks and features. The former has everything that the latter offers except the CYBERSHOT brand which doesnot in any way make a huge differenece. It has good UI and Walkman 2.0 with M2 card suppplied. So I think u must go for W610..

definetly the w610, K550 is cybershot but pics are lower quality than the w800/810. But it;s your choice, they are both mid ended phones. Of all the SE phones so far..i prefer the w810.

go for the k550i, thats for sure it has a bit better design than w610i and a lens cover. but the software is different: w610i has 2.0 player, but the k550i has cyber-shot menu (which is actually the same as other phones), but the design: k550i wins

the other day, i had my friend's k550 and i noticed this phone does not have Mega Bass. does this matter to you? this is another thing i dont like from this phone.
