I've dropped my P990i twice

First on the wooden floor about 3 feet and the second was on a cement floor approxiamtely the same height about 3 feet.

This phone is very durable. No scratches at all.

Yep, I have dropped it over 4 times.

Once onto a concrete pavement, once I sent it skidding along a tarmac & gravel pavement and once I managed to drop it twice within two minutes onto the same ceramic tile floor (dropped it, went "oh what an idiot I am", picked it up and was twisting it around in hands to see if there was any damage when I dropped it again) .

And these drops are just the ones where the battery cover came off and the battery popped out. I have also made a lot of "small drops", you know went to put it on the table and drop it down from a height greater than you meant to.

So far all I have to show for it are a tiny tiny crack on the battery cover and some scratches on one corner where is skidded along the tarmac & gravel pavement.

It is one tough phone (thankfully, with the punishment I give it). .

I dropped mine and it bounced down a set of concrete steps - I took my phone out of my pocket to change an mp3. It was winter and my hands were numb with the cold. You can guess the rest!

Anyway, i got off lightly with a couple of scratches. Quite a robust phone the P990

My P910i fell out of my pocket once when I was getting things out of the car and into the house. In the meantime another car pulled into the gravel driveway and ran it over! It was a perfect hit as well...

It was in a leather case at the time which actually prevented it from getting any scratches. On the outside of the phone there were only a minor dent on the battery cover, and the screen cracked but after that was replaced, it was good as new! That is what I call quality. I still have some big impressions in the leather case from gravel.

Wow Nanu, that looks like you had quite the drop... from how high was it? Plain old gravity or was there some extra downward force?

I almost dropped my P990i when getting out of the car once... luckily, the wrist strap saved me. I would have been quite annoyed if I did drop it, because it was only a few days old... And even now it's only about a week old...

I've dropped the two Samsung phones I had before this at least once each. The phones were ok, but one of them was badly scratched. The other is scratched, but since it's a rubbery finish, it's hard to notice.

I dropped my P990 once, fortunately on a carpeted floor. I once dropped my P910 and completed ruined the screen. It was atraumatic period in my life until I replaced the screen.
