Hi!
I had the P990 for a while and im familiar witht he problems it had and im considering a M600 which is based on the same OS. Does that phone work better? Ie, no memory leaks and restarts all the time?

Cheers

i have had no problems at all with my m600i (and it seems to be stuck on an older firmware despite being debranded) and from what i have heard it is much more stable thn the p990. imo its much better to as you don't have the stupid flip and what is essentially crippled software

Agreed with above - assuming you're happy to do without wifi and camera, the M600 is an excellent alternative. For me the form factor is much, much better (allowing TRUE one handed operation of UIQ3, while being lighter/smaller etc), and it does seem to be more stable, and quicker, than the P990. I'm 100% happy with mine, and I don't notice any memory problems.

Of course, if you'd rather keep (or improve on) the camera and wifi, the P1i might be worth waiting for.
