I used to be able to access my Infocom e-mail in my P900. I just configured my e-mail account and a seperate internet account.
I did exactly the same thing in my P990i but keep getting an error when I try to download my e-mail under the 'messsaging' menu. I have 'grouped' the internet account as recommended in the manual. I am sure my e-mail settings are correct since I am able to download my e-mail when logged on to a WLAN.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I've been to both SMART and Sony Ericsson shops and they weren' of any help.

Your email settings should be O.K. as it works with WiFi. Then the problem might be with Internet access setting in GSM/GPRS/3G whichever mode you are using. Did you check if you can access Internet while the WiFi is diabled?

I can access the internet even if I'm not connected to my WLAN. I use my service provider's network to surf when I'm away from home.
