Hi There,
I've upgraded my w800 to a K810 with orange (UK) and feel that their phone software isn't that great. I have an 18mth contract and would like to know about flashing the phone to debrand it using Woton. I know that this would invalidate the warranty, but would my contract be terminated???

As long as you don't tell them that you have flashed yours with Generic f/w, all will be just fine IMHO.

Flashed mine the day I got it, best thing I did, their software is perthetic, allot of standard features are disabled.

No, you're wrong. Upgrade in this case is changing phone, not firmware upgrade.

Well, previously I owned a D750i which I flashed to a W800i and T-Mobile knew this as they wouldn't help me with a missing secutity certificate (their e-mail mentioned not being able to help because of using 3rd party software) , so if I flash my new k810 I guess there is a good chance Orange would know about this....but Orange's phone software is rather crap. Is there any way to hide the flashing from Orange?????

VERY Shitty WhiteBalance, poor contrast and sharpness (K800 is better)
No nightmode (even if you activate it in VideoRecorder, it doesn't change anything - no longer exposure)
After video is played, at start of 2nd video, the screen goes to standby
The top left button is not working properly (with the righ button you open the recently taken pictures, and pressing it again it jumps to next one, but the left key is not working - should be previous button)
and many more i cannot remember now..
