> W700i and a 8GB Memory Card
Bookmark topic
I've been thinking of buying an 8GB Memory card for my good old W700i. The plan is just to load it up with lots of music (about 2500 tracks I guess). Will there be a problem with this? I guess some of the Walkman controls will be a little slow, but I just want to make sure everything will work...
I only have a 256MB card right now.

It will work mate! When I had a 4gb with my w800 I had around 1100 tracks.
I also orderd a mem stick micro 4gb to use in my k810 then hopefuly 50.

I think it'll lag with a 8GB one...
Better buy a 4GB one

I can deal with lag, I just wanted to make sure it would read it.

Don't be so shure about that; even the PSP needed a firmware upgrade for the 8gb... But your only option is Sony as Sandisk doesn't make 8gb Pro Duo's
