Does anybody know of a different media player that I can install on the M600? I'm so tired of the one that is included in the phone and want to find i different one that works better.

You must be kidding me?!?! Sure there must be any 3'rd party media player for the M600i (UIQ3)?
One of the big advantages with the Symbian OS is the ability to write 3'rd party software.
I'm beginning to regret buying this phone. So many bugs, shortcomings and so little "extra" software buy. Maybe I should reconsider to go back to WM devices?

There is LCG Jukebox for UIQ 3.1 (http://my-symbian.com/uiq3/software/applications.php?faq=16&fldAuto=96). Played with the trailversion and this player was pretty good. It's a shame the soundquality of my (most?/all?) M600i is flawed because of static interference (crackling).
Wendt: btw, you can't control your music with the HPM-82 when using any of the current 3rd party mediaplayers (afaik)...

The biggest problem with the built-in player is that if you transfer an album the player is playing the songs in alphabetical order, so i'm looking for a different player that reads the ID3 tags and plays the songs in the right order. The player should also support wma.

You've got a PM.

Downloaded LGC but something went wrong with installation and I can't start it up. Reinstallation doesn't solve the problem. Any suggestion on how to clean up an installation without totally resetting the entire phone and restore an old backup?
Yes, unfortunately the M600 has problems with static interference, quite annoying.
Regarding HPM-82: bummer. So if I buy the HPM I will have to stick with the built in player and listen to my albums in incorrect order.
Thank you again, SonyEricsson.

bring up an albums track list in the library then More>Sort By>Smart to sort by 'track no' tags. with the lastest firmware, the media player supports wma anyway (tho not particularly well, can misread some tags & takes forever to add to the library)

i realy liked 'unreal mp3 player' for uiq2, not shure it's ported to uiq3
but it would be teh best mp3 player
ogg-player could be a nice alternative

Woow, there it is! Thank you! You saved my life
Btw. Why the H*ll have SE named it "smart" and not "album no" or something more obvious or intuitive? I would never had guessed that this option sorted by album order.
