Hi,
I have just been given some Sony Ericsson MPS-60 speakers and would like to use them with my iPod as I dont use my phone for music.
So does anyone know if you can get a Female Sony Ericsson connector to female 3.5mm audio.
male Sony Ericsson to 3.5mm audio which are readily available??
Thanks

I have not seen such an adapter. I doubt there is one available.

Yeah, you could cut off the plug and solder on a 3.5mm jack plug.

Thinking about it the speakers are powered by the phone itself, So I dont think either way would work unless I gave them an extra power source. Probably not woth it.
Thanks any way.

Why not sell the Mps-60 speakers on ebay or something and buy a half decent set of speakers for about £20.00 with a 3.5mm jack. If you have hifi system, connect it up to that, it would sound a whole lot better.

I modded my MPS-60's to work through a jack, it's quite simple, if you want decent volume all you need to do is attatch both the left and right channels to one speaker.
I made a guide on instructables on how to do it, you can either have one speaker with both left and right for good volume or both speakers on left and right respectively, if you're worried more about sound quality than volume.
