Quite often, I am getting this on my P990i.

I have a 2gb card so surely I have enough memory.....

Please can anyone tell me what I can do stop getting this alert?

Thanks in advance

external memory is just for storage and is not used for running programs

the best you can do is to install as much as you can to the memory stick to keep internal memory free as possible

Actually, it makes no difference to the runtime memory whether your software is installed to internal or external disk.

sorry but the latest firmware made it run multiple apps even worse. the memory leakage problem is more persistent in this new firmware. Hate sony.

I Agree with you. R6D works fine if you open one application, and close it before you open another application. the reduce of the remaining RAM is not as big when you open 3-4 application at the same time.
