> DVD Hacker Cracks iPhone Activation Process

Norwegian hacker, Jon Lech Jonansen, known for his DVD content unlocking software, has reportedly cracked the Apple iPhone’s activation process, making the multi-function device work as an iPod and Wi-Fi handheld, without signing up for an AT&T contract.
“I’ve found a way to activate a brand new unactivated iPhone without giving any of your money or personal information to AT&T,” Jonansen boasts on his blog, entitled “So sue me.”
The Windows workaround involves a patch called “Phone Activation Server v1.0.” Full instructions are available on Jonansen’s blog.
