@upper,

Connect your N95 with the USB cable and then just click connect to the Internet and follow the wizard to get it working. It really should be that simple. I am assuming you are wanting to use your Mobile connection for your PC not the other way round, as if you are wanting to surf on your phone using your PCs Internet connection i don't think that can be done or even why any one would want to.

Well I for one regularly access the internet on my PC using bluetooth PAN, basically because I can then sit in my lounge browsing the web on my phone without paying gprs charges.

So what you are saying is something that can be done easily on any SE with PAN, can't be done at all on the venerable N95? (unless you have a wifi access point of course)

Just because it' sof no value to you, doesn't mean that it's not useful to others. Why have WIFI if you can't use it to access your home internet via WIFI Access Point? For the same reason, if you don't have an access point you can use Bluetooth PAN or USB cable (atleast you can on SE, surely N95 can manage this?)

Surely one of the biggest drawcards of WIFI is the ability to access home internet?? Bluetooth PAN allows you to do the exact same thing.

@max_wedge

I never said it couldn't be done did i? i was actually trying to get more information as to what he was trying to achieve. But as i have both WiFi and an unlimited Data package i have no need to use Bluetooth with all the restrictions that come with it.

Sometimes it appears you are just looking for conflict with no real reason why is that? is it because your SE just makes you feel just so left behind tech wise you have to try and justify any thing it does to reassure your self that it really is brilliant despite the facts, how really sad that is what a shame. Oh and i really don't think you can compare a bluetooth connection to WiFi it's not even close but i suppose as you only have WiFi b if at all and no HSDPA to you it seems incredibly fast.
