Hi,

Was just thinking, what if all the major bugs were not resolved on the P990's next comming firmware? Do you think SE will throw another firmware to fix them? Or is it the end of the line for us?

Its just a speculation, we all don't know anything about the comming firmware, since its still due in August.

Am talking about something that may happen...what if new bugs surfaces again?! Will SE release more firmwares? or is it game over?

if the new firmware update doesn't fix all those bugs, then SE should think that they should do one more update otherwise, SE smartphones will totally lost it's degrading reputation

I'm clearly one of the few people that doesn't have any serious problems with his P990. It's been about as stable as any phone I've owned from any manufacturer. It'd be nice if they fixed it a bit more, but really it works fine.

Based on your experience i can have a conslusion that the serious problems in P990 were actually caused by carelessness of users in managing the system performance.

since the coming August firmware is due to protest from the users and not by themselves I doubt they will, on there own initiative, release yet another version if the problem aren't solved.

thats not true.

the bugs exist even in normal phone usage, that is, even if you're not a heavy multitasker, and just use it as a conventional phone.

I cant see bothering with the P990 for much longer, R6 D23 was supposed to be the last but even realised they would lose customers if they left it at that so they promised one final update.

have the P1 comming apparently some time soon, I believe they will focus all their energies on that and working on the P990i successor due........ god only knows when!
