HI,

which bluetooth usb adapter works best with the T68i ?
I heard about lot`s of problems connecting the T68i with an usb adapter.
Does anybody has the MSI adapter "MS 6967" (this is the german typ) ?

Or should i buy another one?

I have the MSI and it works great. The only disadvantage is that the supplied software doesn't support sending files from phone. However this can be circumvented, check previous posts in the forum. This post was posted from a T68i

Well - doesnt matter if sending from the phone isn`t supportet - i just want to use sending themes or background to my phone.

Did you (or anybody else here) use the phone monitor with this usb adapter?

Because in this case the phone also sends to the pc doesn`t it?

Does it mean it doesn`t work or is this only a software bug which can be fixed by newer (latest) software?

I have used the phone monitor, send file, pc control and T68x Monitor and it all works fine. So I think you should go for the MSI.

I have a Bluetake BT007 bluetooth adapter and it is excellent. It has a 100m range (Only 10m with the phone though, but it covers all my rooms in my apartment even my balcony ). The 100m range could be useful for networking computers.

msi bluetooth is the best because
1.cheaper
2.can sent and receive anything to and from pc and phone
3.100% compatible to t68i
4.will not crash or cannot detect your phone

Hmm.. well... as I said before I've had no problems at all with the Bluetake usb-adapter. It has never crashed, and it finds all bluetooth devices I've tried. I find it truly excellent, a high quality product for sure. Don't know how it compare in price though.

I've had no problems at all. It found the T68 right away and it had worked ever since. File transfer, syncing with outlook all works flawless.

D-link ain't so bad - and cheap too from expansys.com; apparently also works with Mac if needed.

Not the greatest device for providing a Bluetooth LAN access point under WinXP, though.

I used MSI bluetooth USB adapter, its cool, cheap, easy, and without any epidemic disease.
but I have a problem with this , I tried to connect it with a USB camera externally with out a PC , the aim of this is to do the folowing hierarchy
PC-USB-Bluetooth--------wireless--------Bluetooth-USB camera
as indicated in the sheet , it says it is possible that I can generate a serial port with a serial device.
BTW: I applied a 5V to the connection between the BT and the CAM . and it does not work , I cant find it from any other bluetooth device :S
