> P990 Desktop Icons and Tracker
Bookmark topic
I was just laying in bed and checking a few bits on my phone, and I couldn't believe that there was an option to completely turn off the desktop icons (the 4 of them!) - I can't believe I have had this phone for so long and only just realised it!
Also, does anyone know if Tracker is going to be designed for UIQ3, or a similar program? I really miss that on my P910!

Where did you find the option to turn the four icons off?
Edit: oh, thought it was in FO.

ah i forgot to share about this hiding icon desktop in flip closed.
if u play song with media player then u minimize, the playing song will be shown under the operator name rite?
the 4 desktop icon still invisible. but if u scroll ur jog dial down, tadaaa those icons comeback.
open other apps. back to stdby menu, the icons will be gone. scroll jog dial to minimized song, and the icons back.
other thing u can change the shortcut for dpad up left and down. right dpad dedicated for activity menu.
cmiiw
regards
correction: u dont have to play media player. hide icon n scrolldown, the icons will be back n the option is checked again. is this a bugs?

I don't think it's a bug as such but more like a feature.
Why would you use your jog dial on the main screen unless you wanted to scroll through your shortcut icons? (understandable if you have minimised the media player).
Notice if you have turned off the shortcut icons and then use the jog dial in the main screen wait about 10 - 14 secs and they disappear again, this is what leads me to believe that it isn't a bug
