> K800 problem with wallpaper

Help!
I've been given a new K800 from 3 to replace a faulty one. The new handset arrived on Friday. over the weekend, the wallpaper reset to the theme wallpaper and when i tried to change it, I just got 'cannot use this file' on any selection (including 3's own).
I decided to reset the firmware using wotanserver to save me sending it back again (long story but I've had to send my phone back 6 times in the past 6 weeks, and about 9 times this year). This resolved the issue.
Then, last night, I powered off the phone, and on startup, the wallpaper had reset again to the theme, and I'm getting the cannot use this file error.
Any ideas?
I suppose I'm going to have to return it again but worried 3 will just reset the firmware and the problem will happen again.

Why don't you create your own theme and use your favourite wallpaper? It's fairly easy using the themes creator thay you can download for free from
SonyEricsson's web site. You can start by downloading the theme you are using from the phone to the PC, and then modify it.

Doubt that - its every picture on the phone, including the standard 3 ones

I have a K510i and I've had the same problem. Try making the resolution of the wallpaper a little smaller. That worked for me. A master reset have you tried ?

of both. might hint at whether it's a corrupt file system of dodgy
firmware.
When you reflashed - did you use a generic or the 3 version. Just
thinking aloud as it could be the 3 firmware that's at fault as my k800
k810 have never done this (both O2 UK)

They're in different locations (have tried moving around too).
Its the 3 firmware I've used so presume its a problem with that.
Think I'm just going to stick with it, create my own themes and keep it as a spare phone when I upgrade.
