Bookmark topic
My colleague in the office has decided to pass on the W880i deciding to take a W810i as "the w880i has got a terrible reputation" for "falling to bits" I have never heard of this but he directed me to
http://www.yourmobilephonereviews.co.uk/ and sure enough its got awful reviews what is the general opinion here?

Correct, apart from the camera quality it seems pretty good. You do need to look after it well though, if its dropped it may shatter due to the size and build, but i love the design and the features are just perfect.

@nitro - If the $$$ between the W810i and W880 is - huge

. . . then I guess common-sense now dictates that it's better to get the W810i pal

! I wonder if the ONLT advantage of the W880 is it's - slimness . . .

How much is expensive?
Cheap here in the UK, can easily get one around £130

W880 is slim but w880 talk time is 6 hours compared to 9 hours of w810. No auto focus in it. Very small keys are problem for people who text a lot and as QVGA told its pretty expensive in pakistan.w810 13,500 rupees and w880 is 22000 rupees

The build-quality of the W880 is actually very good. It feels very sturdy and it didn't fell to bits when I dropped it (already 3 times). There even isn't any noticable crack, because the front is of aluminum and the back of rubberized plastic.
Yes - the keys are fairly small, but well spaced - I type as fast or even faster as with the K610 or the W810 before - after I got used to it. The first time it felt ugly.
Other important pro's for me (that means: those are important to
me might not for others):
- Very light, almost 30 grams or 30% (!) less than the W810
- Slim and thin, very comfortable and unobvious to wear in the shirt pocket etc.
- Great design (a matter of taste, others will disagree)
- Better Screen (smaller, but better)
- UMTS - a must for me, I'm online 24hrs a day (UMTS-Flatrate)
- Better NetFront Browser
- Video Call - yes I use that a lot
- Blogger application integrated - I use that a lot
- RSS Reader, I use this very, very often
- Better Email client, that I'm using all day long
- Bluetooth stereo support - very important and very nice
- TrackID - great feature, comes in handy at some times
- W810 is outdated - already much over a year old.
The cam is ok for what I need it, the W810 "flash" doesn't help too much - I had one so I know. For the cam-quality (with standard driver) I only noticed a slight advantage for the W810.
And: the hissing sound in the W810 (even had a replacement) annoyed me so much that I got rid of it. The K610 and now the W880 are much better in that point.
The W880 is a fashion music phone with fantastic online capabilites and a decent (means: it's ok, not more) cam.
And oh yes: for those complaining about tiny sound out of speakers - it should be forbidden to force ones music on other people in public. This as a phone - not a full-blown THX musicbox.
Other people have other taste and other priorities on the features of a phone so take the above points as a personal rating and nothing more

.
