When you send an item via Bluetooth on newer Sony Ericsson phones, the phone searches for devices and lists them, as here:
What I want to know is, the little icons on the left hand side. Sometimes they appear green, sometimes they appear blue. It appears to be random, has definitely nothing to do with whether they are within range or not.
Any ideas?

Green colour icons -> when you finish transfer with this user in your list with bluetooth devices - to help you who is last "contacts" connected with your phone .
After restart icons again with blue colour .

On my Z550i the Blue ones appear to be the devices paired with my phone. Nothing random at all. Green are unpared devices.

All the devices which are in the picture I posted are paired with my phone. It has nothing to do with that.

me too... all PC and other devices currently connected to my phone is colored GREEN...
and when my other devices are off... and when i look at my phone.. all icons are in BLUE...
