Looks like SE finally hit the sweet spot with the P1. but their taken too little their sweet time to deliver it.

Cnet Asia says that it managed to run admirably fast while having multiple task at once. though they failed to inform us what kind of applications they have run on it and how many applications were opened at once

another is the malicious Symbian OS 9.2 UIQ 3.1 being told by those groups. that was simply confusing to the newbies just because the truth is that P1 uses symbian 9.1 UIQ 3 OS. imho Cnet has failed to produce a well defined review on the phone
just wanted to add something more:
-->"The fact is that we during the past week have had about fifteen applications running simultaneously without any memory problems or sluggishness."
that's cool but i wonder if they also included opera 8, and the camera program in their multitasking test. but with fifteen applications running in the background while the CPU was only 208Mhz 180Mhz in reality, it's quite excellent

i ccan conclude that SE has managed a better system resource management with P1 than the predecessors. nice job in short

Its still waaaaaaaaaaay behind the Nokia E90 communicator.
I would like SE to make one that beats this amazing device.
The P1 is sh*t compared to it, too inferior.
EXAMPLE: I would like SE to STOP F***ING IMPLEMENTING ONLY Wi-Fi B and start EQUIPPING B/G FOR GOD'S SAKE.

Correct, the P1i is indeed a beauty.
Glad to have played with it myself.

Or light years ahead, depending on where you stand on the features vs bulk & weight, buttons vs touchscreen arguments. Personally, I wouldn't touch the E90, like all the previous Communicators it seems completely impractical to me.
There's nothing impressive about making a device which does everything. Making a device that does virtually everything and can still function as an everyday, pocket-sized, lightweight phone -
that's clever. I'd rather have wifi B in my pocket, than wifi G left at home in my briefcase.
