my friend considers buying m600, and I'd like to know some info about it.
actually I've read about recent firmware bugs of p990 and it scares me a little bit, is it the same situation with m600? or it's ok and has a stable os, like it used to?

also I'd like to know free available ram of m600 after startup.
and give me pls a link about m600 where I could read about latest bugs/features.

Should my friend make a firmware upgrade after the purchase?

thanks in advance hope you'll ansqer to all my questions.

fortunately the m600 does not suffer from the same firmware problems like the p990. there are a few minor bugs (like the alarm sound being low) but nothing too serious. as the for the amount of start-up RAM, i normally get 20.8 - 21.3 Mb free. make sure your friend does get the firmware upgrade done.

the m600i is an excellent phone, and incredibly stable compared to the crap reviews of the p990i

and at the price they are now they are still incredibgle value, so if you need a phone now they are an excelletn choice. I am yet to experience any problems at all with mine, with both my orange branded and generic versions.
