Hi guys,
Have this problem which i hope i get answers to- i have a n73musicedition- symbian s60 3rd edition os.
i use opera mini 3.1. It doesnt have a download manager so it uses the service browser to do the downloading.
1. Can one change the default application that opens particular files?
2. Where does the service browser store the downloaded file as a temp? Reason being, when i download sis files the installer auto starts upon download completion and i loose the sis file cause i think after you install, it gets deleted or something. I wan2 know where the service browser puts these files so i can use xplorer to copy it and save it .
3. After downloading a zip, my zip app opens it as usual-i copy it to my downloads folder and thats fine..but if my handyzip screws things up i loose the file but my service browser shows it as completed-iuse the copy option-doesn't get copied but my phone memory shows the file still exists somewhere . . . See my phone mem keeps reducing.
4. How do i clean my cache in the c:/cache folder

ple helpme guys, don't say use opera s60 865 cause i have only wap access so opera mini is the only solution.
Regards

Answers:

1. You can set file associations using LCG X-plore

2. Not sure, but i think u can find downloaded files in C:\System\dmgr

4. Usually that cache get cleared after a soft reset
