I have a SE K750i and want to unlock it so that I can put an O2 Sim in it. Vodafone have provided me with the unlock code and instructions on how to unlock it, but I am concerned that I may lose my contacts etc.
Is the unlock fairly benign i.e will it leave my data intact. Will it also debrand my mobile?

Yes if you do it correctly there is nothing to worry about. i used the unlock code recently and it worked perfectly. i think you can have up to 3 tries i think until it has to be unlocked by a specialist.
