As the owner of site @Laffen, could you tell us where the News boy is as he's not replying to me?

the answer is that axxxr is no longer a member having chosen for himself to be banned, which I am sure you do know batesie, but its worth a short discussion and some comments from members before I close this thread to end this story once and for all

At first he asked me to ban him, which of course I won't do without a good reason, but it seems in the early hours he posted a thread and link to a site designed to have a go at me and have my position removed. As it was removed he got another member, via MSN, to send more unsolicited PM's containing the same message.

As it happens I have had around 35 PM's of support including importantly, full support from Esato's owner whose rules I am only here to apply. In contrast, I have received only 5 negative PM's.

Its also interesting that I have also received comments on another site from members who have much reduced their activity on Esato giving teir reason as due to axxxr's non-new posting activities.

Its also interesting that the few members who have been sending PM's on his behalf are fairly new members, and 2 of the 3 have been totally appologetic knowing that many members have complained to me about receiving those unsolicted PM's. I have heard very little from long standing members whom he claims I am driving away.

Lets remember that all this has started since the 9/11 thread was closed and immediately that happened, and before any further nonesense started, I already received loads of PM's saying it was well past its time. As I've said before, I felt it was worth keeping that one open and dealing with the issues it created while it was interesting and also in order to keep the fantastic news going. But time came when it needed to be closed and now look at the fallout...

I won't, and never have, said anything bad against axxxr because I really enjoyed his news items, but unfortunately it was proved many times that religion and politics don't work on Esato and we've also had several threads requesting them to be disallowed, as many sites disallow such discussion. I'm very sad for this turn of events butI really think its getting a bit silly and juvenile now

I welcome any other thoughts at this dissapointing outcome (i.e. our excellent news man is gone)?

btw, Boba has given his personal reasons for not being around lately in the Where's BobaFett and Wally? thread
