> Bump on K750i Memory Stick Door

Hi,
I noticed that a bump is made on the Memory Stick Door when a memory stick is inside my K750i. The door sort of bends and the bottom ariea of the door sort of comes out a little bit. This makes a visible bump on the side of the phone. Is this normal? Btw, the bump is not visible when there is no memory stick inside.

if the phone is new or almost new this is normal. now, when the phone starts aging this starts being noticed. im facing the same also. try to push it the harder it can support. do not brake it!

oh my.. I just noticed.. you need to push it in really hard and it just snaps inside the phone... it doesn't jump out anymore so the door isn't bumped out anymore... then when you press it in more and release the card jumps out. They should have told about this in the manual >:( I have stressed my door for no reason!!

The manual doesn't explain that you have to insert the card to the very bottom of the slot! All my friends that own K750's have been complaining about this bump, and one of my friends had to replace the door as the small clips gave away after 9 months. I'm just so angry at SE for not explaining this in the manual!

just kidding.
anyway, this explains why my phone kept crashing when there was a reasonable shock to the phone. (when runnings games on the Memory stick a shock crashs the phone!). I was wondering why this kept happening... now it doesn't happen anymore though

Yup, cuz the game was running from the mspd. I use to save then in the phone's memory.

even when running apps from the phone's memory, the k750 line tends to hang after dropping the cellphone (tested on 2 k750 models) dunno why....

I had to cut a little bit of the MSPD door, so that it could be flat like normal. This way I can still use the self timer in camera, otherwise the phone can't stand on it's own.
