Hey guys, my dad's mate will be going to UK(London i reckon) soon, so just wanted to know a few laptop(Asus G1 & Asus G1S) prices?
And which shops to buy?
Also i may get a VAIO(if not Asus), so will it be better to buy it from SONY STYLE or somewhere else?
And also what are the VAT charges over there?

Hi
Your best bets for laptops - to my knowledge - are
PC World and
Micro Anvika. I don't really know any other franchises around here except for the manufacturers of course. I think that the Sony shops are having a sale at the moment too

pc world? What u on man, they are shocking I could undercut the majority of their prices by 50% and make profit. If you contact some manufactures directly they will offer discounts, also try online shops which specialise in computers. Avoid highstreet branded shops as they are expensive

Does play.com(UK) have shops in London for direct purchasing?
Just noticed that they are selling Vaio FZ11s for cheap...

@leeboy can you name some decent shops in London from where laptop can be bought? Dont need web based shopping, as my dad's mate will be visiting London and doesnt live there...
Which do you think will be cheaper UAE or UK?
I reckon its UAE as its duty free but still not sure...
