Our new Sony-Ericsson cell phone, today went into some kind
of FREEZE MODE? Screen was lite LIGHT color, body of phone
"buzzed" - but then it just stays in blank mode? HOW DO WE GET
PHONE BACK INTO NORMAL OPERATION? It is only 2 months old,
from Cingular re-signup. We tried removing battery, and then
installing battery - nothing, still in frozen state?

Have you switched it off removed the battery then put it back on and re-powered the handset? try that if that doesn't work you might require a SW update which you can do online throught the Sony ericsson website

Also it might also be good trying to check how much memory you have used on your cellphone, you may have to clear a few things ie. Pictures, Text Messages and so on

they are sending us a free replacement Sony-Ericcson phone.
We tried a couple of his ideas - nothing else worked? I think he
even tried a software download - that didn't work either.
