> Help in restoring backup

Hi all,
I've sent my hp to the SE service centre for servicing. Before i sent it for servicing, i've backup my phone with the PC suite. As my com was unstable, i decided to export the backup with the PC suite, which gave me a file with file extension .bm3.
Sure enough, my com go bonkers, but i thought i was safe with the .bm3 export file saved somewhere else. I formatted my com, and re-install PC suite.
When I got back my phone from the service centre, which gave me the latest firmware and a chinese font reader (3rd party application). I tried restoring my backup, but an error file keep reading "The selected backup is not compatible with the connected mobile phone".
I have lotsa contact list and impt notes in the backup... is there any way of
1) restoring the backup to my phone?
2) retrieving the info from the backup file (.bm3), say, maybe using some way of reading the contact list info in the backup file?
Any help is greatly appreciated...thanks....

I'm running into the same problem. After playing with the files a little bit I came to the conclusion that .bm3 are actually .zip archives. But they're password-protected! I'd count that as purposeful maliciousness, as you can get the data by just installing it on another phone, which I can't do any more.
Does anybody know the password? Any clues how to find it?
Thanks!
