Its probably as SW problem on your phone. Get it into a service point and let them upgrade it

then your memory stick probably has a malfuctioning file which causes this. there's a thread with similar behavior:

Virus. (on W700 after loading mp3?)

Have you previousley placed any MP3's on your handset?

have a look at the thread the member describes or consult your nearest Service centre for asistance.

your local servicepoint can be found via the website!

fones don't easily get/infected with viruses . . if the fone restarts, I think it just needs a firmware upgrade . . .

I believe only phones with operating system that can be infected with virus. because how's the virus going to work itself into the phone without an operating system? like you trying to grow a seed in a solid plastic base, impossible

You tried scanning your phone with your computers anti virus software?

Attach the phone & your computer will see it as another harddrive, scan that & see.

Isnt it normal for the k750 to do that when it goes into file transfer mode?

No, K750 and W800 don't have a choice between phone mode and transfer mode - you get both at once and the phone doesn't restart when you plug it in.

It's a misconception that non-smartphones don't have operating systems. Without an operating system, how could the phone boot up and operate? What non-smartphones DON'T have is a multi-tasking operating system. The DO have an operating system, but one that can't multi-task.

Theoretically a non-smartphone is vulnurable to attack also, but since they are about 100 times simpler in operation than a smartphone, it's much easier to lock them down so that they can't be attacked.

Infact, currently there are NO viruses for mobile phones that don't require the end user to accept a prompt in order that the phone be infected with the virus. So to avoid infection just don't accept anything that you aren't expecting. (for now)
