Hello Esato,
Ive been looking at changing my mobile contract over from vodafone to o2 long weekend contract for a while now but there's been no phone worth getting imo... being a SE fan now for ages i didnt want to switch to any other phone ie: big bulky buggy n95 lol
So... once i see the w960i on Se website i thought yes! thats my next phone... but didnt know whether the o2 long weekend contract would last till the phone will be released(apparently oct/sep).
Now i have a big dillema..the p1 looks and sounds sweet and is available now on o2 but do i bite the bullet and get it even though id rather the w960i or get the p1i?
Any advice would be appreciated, especially those with the p1.

Thing is, why wait for the W960??? What makes the W960 any better to the P1i? Yes it'll be smaller. Have "normal" keys. Be Walkman branded. But what else?
What we need in this post are the pro's and con's of each phone, and then let the buyer decide. What do you all think?

I guess i have waited this long another month or so wont hurt (much)... will pop into an o2 store for a play and see the phone properly, hope that wont be a bad thing and i end up buying hehe
Come on guys, anyone can talk me into getting the p1i and make it feel a good justified decision?
My reasons wanting the W960i over the p1i are;
1) 8GB Storage
2) Normal Keys
3) Walkman Style (any difference other than branding, few shortcut keys?)
4) Looks Damn Sexy!
5) Stereo Bluetooth™ Headset HBH-DS220 in box!
6) Shake Control (not reason to want over p1i but it could be cool
That enough to wait 1,2,3 months for?
Other alternative is to get p1i now & when w960i is out, sell it and buy w960i...hmmz

All depends on what phone you're looking for... I prefer the querty keyboard over the w960 one. I really like the w960 looks though but the P1i is also good looking enough. About the 8gb storage, ah well... a 4gb memory stick is also enough for me.
I'm getting the P1i now, since it has all I need (also wondering what the w960 price will be).

i guess you have mistaken the SenseMe feature as the accelerometer feature seen on W910 and K850. this phone doesn't have shaker feature, nonetheless it is based on P1 platform with minor enhancements and cosmetic changes

Im tempted to get p1i now and sell it when w960i is released hoping the p1i dont drop loads in price by then...will decide on p1i when i see it for myself in an o2 store monday

get the p1 then get the w,(ha,ha,ha)
p1 is more practical.you wont be getting the stylus out every time you want to do something.but the w does look the bees knees.

My suggestion : get the P1 now since it's already available.
When W960 released, if you satisfied with P1 just keep it. Otherwise, sell P1 and get the W960.
