Hi all long time no post,

Last week I swapped from O2 to Vodaphone so I could get the N95 for free

I got the phone through Phones4U - who said my contract is 750mins anytime cross network, 3000 texts and unlimited internet.

Have just checked my unbilled calls online and to my surprise in my first couple of days of use I have been charged £1.47 for calls and internet use? Not been charged for internet or calls at the weekend, only in the week.

Its hard to find out what my exact price plan is online but it says"CTRA750+VP+Unlimitedtexts18+MI" if anyone knows what that means lol.

If I phone Vodaphone tomorrow and they say my plan is different to what I was originally sold, do I have the right to cancel the contract with no charge to me? As the contract is no use at all if i have to pay for calls made during the week.

Sorry for the long post, could just do with some advice.

P.S I have sent over 50 texts and not been charged for a single one so that seems to be ok

how much line rental are you paying for that?
Unlimited means free so you have unlimited text messages and GPRS by the sounds of it it might be capped though you prob might have 1000 texts really but im unsure about the GPRS if it's free always then you have got a amazing deal

hmm if its under 14 days then you should be able to cancel on the bounds you aint happy....

phones4u are known to change conditions and stuff at the last minute so be wary and often try to get as much for things as they can, like my dad went in when looking for an upgrade and they offered him the N95 for £50 per month and he told them it was cheaper at T-mobile and started to walk out and then he said wait a minute ill check with the manager, came back and magically £15 had been knocked off and it was down to £35 per month lol

Hi,

Have spoken to Vodaphone who said that if I have been charged for anything then it will be refunded at the end of the month.

The GPRS is only 120mb not unlimited but thats still enough for me seeing as O2 used to only give me 512kb a month for free lol. The texts are 3000 + 750mins a month. The contract is £45 a month, so quite expensive, but as the N95 was free and you get a LOT of free texts can't really complain, and after 9 months it can be downgraded to a £25 contract
