hey...I have been using nokia phones for as long as i can remember. When the symbian devices were launched i bought a 6600, swapped it with a friend for a 3230 and used it for a while. A year later i sold off my 6600 and bought the n72. My next phone was the n73. But i want to shift to SE now. I am interested in the complete package that phones like the p990i offer(which includes a touch screen). However my main constraints are that the p990 has a 2mp camera. Secondly, brick or no brick, nokia s60 has the huge advantage of having a large no of apps freely available.

Pls help me in making a choice. Would the p990i be a smart decision?

The P990i has a 2mp camera not 3.2. Are you thinking of the P1i?

maybe i should wait for the p1i. After reading various reviews on p990i i am of the impression that its quite bug ridden. Hope the p1 wont have those problems

I am using a P990i and am yet to experience any crashing or bugs really. I would sugest holding out for a P1i though as they are a bit smaller and have a better camera as well. They are starting to become available now.

I think you should buy the P1i, I bought it three days ago and i quite like it. No bugs, until now, a very nice camera, WiFi and a touch screen. I still have to get to know the phone a whole lot better, but until now i like it a lot!
