anyone know how I go about getting a phone line and broadband in Spain .. 4 weeks today and I will be sitting on the plane with a one way ticket
Telefonica look about the only choice and they are well expensive compared to the UK .. never thought I would say that about UK prices ...

Now for the bad part, broadband is shocking over here, my connecton works when it want and is slower then dial up the majority of the time

Got a place not far from Alicante .. urb La marina.
Telefonicas web site says 3mb connection but I somehow don't think I am going to get anywhere near that

good luck witht that, been trying to have tha setup here for ages, no luck so far, still on the 1mb connection (goes about 2/3kbs max)

Ah, you are just up the road .. we have some friends in Gran Alicante .. small world
