Hello,
I'm the new proud owner of a P1iand I would like to receive emails from Gmail as puh email, rather than the phone going to check every x mins. I came across Mail2Web which if I understood rightly allows you to gather emails from different accounts and then sync with your handheld device through an Microsoft Exchange technology.
Has anyone tried it before? Is tit secure? I'm not sure I go it right is a redirection service or can you send email from your phone using your Gmail address?
Thanks for the help.

Hi, I use mail2web with 2 of my accounts on my p1i, and it seams to work very well, I also sync my Contacts and Calendar from Address Book & iCal (using Groupcal) on osx.
It all works well, I am paying for the Personal Exchange but the cost is very low under 2$ a month, but you can do it with the free one, but I am not sure of what is missing but for testing it worked for me.
You need to set up mail2web then install DataViz ActiveSync on you phone put your details in, and away you go. Mail2web has all the details for servers and such.
I did have blackberry connect on the p1 but it could not open attachments?
Hope his is of help?
