i was bluetoothing some data accross and my bluethooth just disapeared i rang sony and they told me to reset the phone which i did and it still won't work. Please help also the keypad has cracks on the number buttons i love the it is awsome i just want it to work.

hi

imo, your costumer should more specific. he seems to be a little wise with celphones, but you should check it by yourself and tell us what is the problem itself with your own words. the bluetooth disappeared, he means the menu or the function?

i think that a firmware upgrade could fix it.

visit www.wotanserver.com for more about it.

cheers

Thanks for your reply. I'm still here to see what other people say.

I will only have the phone back on thursday. And he says he relies on his phone for work blah blah and that he MUST have a phone. Sounds pretty fake to me though. How can someone NOT have an old phone to use.

Nonetheless, i will still do what i can to help him out and to have him a new phone asap.

Isn't this what warranties are for?

There is nothing he can do to fix the buttons himself so its silly to ask for help here really isn't it?

Ask him to send it back and if he needs another phone - borrow one.

@goldenface: there's another thing he's asking also, the bluetooth's missing

i think this is a firmware issue as i said in my last post. visiting wotan might solve his problem.

Any free alternative to wotan? I have no paypal account.

Hopefully, SEUS will be able to solve the problem, even tho i told him to try that and he said it wont work.

Seems to me just like a software problem.

@tranced

Yes that might be better but he might have to send his phone back anyway to have the buttons fixed, regardless of whether the BT was there or not.

He might as well kill two birds with one stone. Himself opening the housing to replace the buttons will surely negate the warranty, will it not?

Yeap. I was thinking that. But the thing is. The customer wants another phone asap. And he was not worried about the keys. It was only the bluetooth he was worried about as he 'really needs the phone'.

I would replace the phone and send theirs off to be repaired on warranty. The BT problem is strange, did everything to do with BT just disappear off the phone?

Are they sure it didn't just disappear from the shortcut menu or something?
