Hi all

Yet again i really don't think this is true 02 have truly the worst Data packages of all i mean really just follow this link for individual business users charges.

http://www.o2.co.uk/business/[....]ffs/businessdataforindividuals

To be honest this is IMO a complete rip off and whilst Voda have cut their charges drastically with their new deals. If you use more than the 450mb @£7.50 you are then paying £2 per Mb.

Compare these to the offerings from T-Mobile, 3 or even Orange who all for around £7.50pm gives up to 1gb of usage and you will see just how uncompetitive their prices are. IMO seeing as the iPhone is meant to come with an unlimited Data plan how can Apple consider these Networks as the shift in pricing required is extremely unlikely IMO.

My personal favourite for getting the deal is still most probably T-Mobile but I'm sure we will all find out in plenty of time before launch. But a 2 year contract and an expensive data and minutes contract is likely to keep well away from this product how ever nice it may be. I really dislike long contracts as the longest i keep a device is 9 months and usually left as i have had 7 devices in the last Year. So the chance of having just one device for 2 years is Zero IMO.

Marc

I know that the topic is about the iphone, but regarding to Orange Data
You get 30mb for £8 and not 1gb.

02 is £10 for 20mb, however o2 are looking at the data tarrifs at the min so this will prob change when the iphone is released.
