Well just debranded from three firmware to Sony Ericsson generic UK trade firmware. I've been to the SE website and had all the setting sent via SMS to my phone but still I cannot get online or send an MMS.
I have searched the forums but nothing works, I cant find any updated settings since this time last year, anybody with k800i and three please post your settings or someone help!!

I chose generic becuase on Wotan instructions it said choose generic if you want to debrand and that was my primary purpose as I hate the three firmware.
Three website is useless, so it SE, its so frustrating!

3 set there phones up differently to any other network with a permenant connection.
When you debrand the phone the sim card and networks no this as certain features on the phone become disablelled by default.
eg receipts on text messaging on a 3 phone is there, on a generic phone its not always there.
3 programme there phones and this is a problem many people have.
Im not sure what way round there is to be honest.
Also PAYG sim cards work differently to contracts.
Not much help but i will try to find out more for you

I've managed to get it working although the only problem I am getting now is it says "Operation Failed" when I try to download games from three. I can stream video content no problem and I downloaded wallpapers from the SE site but just this annoying Operation Failed error when I go to download the game.
Anyone got any idea what the problem could be?

Hi,
Games are Java applications like MSN messenger, etc. When you download them from three they check for certain 3 security certificates that are on the phone. When you debrand you loose these as they are not part of the normal generic firmware. This is why when you download the game you get "operation failed".
